![]() By:ShortMeTina This article was inspired by a Bruce Lee quote noted below: "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. " That quote got me to do some thinking and I came to the conclusion that maybe "one set-up or one stock" is all you need to make it in the markets. As Bruce Lee suggests, focusing on a few and not many; can potentially yield better results. I find it to be true that too many traders are concerned with doing too many things at once and they end up falling flat on their faces. Trading too many "set-ups" and too many "stocks" may actually serve as a “distraction”; and a hindrance to overall performance. I am not encouraging anyone to switch their style of trading overnight but if you’ve been at this for a while and you haven’t yielded the results you desire; maybe focusing on a few may be beneficial to you. What do I mean? “Concentrated Trading”. Pick one, any one and study it. Find it and trade it! Practice one kick 10,000 times! Good, Bad or Ugly leave a comment below.
