In the markets, you MUST be governed by rules.  I am presenting you some of mine; I encourage you to develop your own.  Trust this and trust the process.  Reject the teachings of others... ...
in ShortMeTina we trust.

  1. Patience (Always remain patient).
  2. I trade after I have identified the trend.
  3. My position size is determined, so that if I am wrong, I am only losing  </= 1% of my ENTIRE trading account.
  4. I protect my principle, I protect my principle, I protect my principle! (Meaning: I protect my trading capital first and foremost).
  5. I don’t hold extremely low float shorts overnight.  I don't short stocks with a low float!
  6. I typically avoid entering a premarket/afterhours trade (unless it provides liquidity).
  7. I close a position when my mental stop is hit (no matter what).
  8. Goes with #7, I cut losses without hesitation; when my trading thesis is proven wrong.
  9. I push myself to always learn new things about the market.
  10.  I have A PLAN for EVERY trade.
  11. I only enter trades that fit my methodology.
  12. I almost never average down into a losing position.
  13. I never follow any trade blindly.
  14. I NEVER chase stocks.  If I miss my entry; so be it.
  15. I NEVER use leverage.
